Asynchronous I/O that doesn’t get in your way, written in D

Function ClosableRandomAccessStream.close

Actively closes the stream and frees associated resources.

abstract void close() @safe;

Closing a stream implies a call to finalize, so that it doesn't need to be called explicitly.

Note that in general no method calls other than checking the isOpen property may be used after calling close() on a stream instance.
